Teat cleaning should be performed two to three times annually for best results. It is important to keep your horse’s teats cleaned because mares get build up. Build up can result from sweat, natural oils and compacted dirt. The teats will become itchy and uncomfortable, leading to tail rubbing, poor performance and mood.
